Sweet and Sour Carrots
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds carrots
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 can tomato soup
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup salad oil
3/4 cup vinegar
salt
1 tsp ground pepper
Recipe
Peel carrots and slice lengthwise into slim strips about 4 inches long. Boil until tender but still crips. Drain.
Remove seeds from green pepper and cut into slim strips. Thinly slice onion and separate into rings.
Lay all the vegetables in an oblong dish.
Bring remaining ingredients to a boil, stir will, and while hot, pour over vegetables. Regrigerate when cool.
This will keep refrigerated for several days.
