Quinoa Breakfast Cereal

Recipe Introduction
Quinoa: Rinse and dry before using. Use one part grain to 3
parts water or broth and simmer for 15 minutes until it's tender.
It can also be toasted in a skillet for 5 minutes before cooking.
1 cup Quinoa
2 cups water, or combo of water and juice
1/2 cup minced or diced apples
1/3 cup raisins or dried cherries/cranberries
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Milk, honey or brown sugar to sweeten
Rinse the quinoa and add to the pan of water. Bring to a boil,
reduce heat, simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in the apples, raisins
and cinnamon; simmer until the water is absorbed. Serve with
milk and sweeten to taste with honey or brown sugar. You
could use any sweetener you prefer.
