Lemon Bars

List of Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup powdered (confectioner's) sugar
- 1 cup flour
- LEMON MIXTURE:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 TB. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 TB. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar
- Cut in flour until crumbly
- Lightly press into bottom of 8-inch square, greased, pan
- Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
- While crust bakes mix the lemon mixture ingredientstogether
- When crust is done(brown around edges), spread egg/lemon mixture over hot crust and bake 25 minutes
- When cool, top with a little powdered (confectioner's) sugar and cut into squares
