    Recipe Introduction


    This makes a lot. Great for a crowd at a summer picnic. You can add extras of all of your favorite vegetables. Use your imagination. Try adding blanched snow peas, blanched asparagus or radishes!
    The goes well with chicken, steak, burgers..dog.. you name it. It's good!

    List of Ingredients




    1 (16 ounce) packages angel hair pasta (break in half) or 1 (12 -16 ounce) packages tri-color spiral pasta
    4 firm ripe seeded diced tomatoes
    1 (2 1/4 ounce) cans sliced black olives, drained
    2 medium cucumbers, peeled pulp removed and diced
    1 small onions, finely diced
    1 small green bell peppers, seeded and diced
    1 small yellow bell peppers, seeded and diced
    3(1 ounce) packages hidden valley ranch dressing mix
    1 (2/3 ounce) package Italian salad dressing mix (prepared as directed on package only using 1/2 of the oil called for)
    3/4 cup canola oil
    1/3 cup red wine vinegar

    Recipe



    Cook pasta according to package directions.

    Prepare Italian dressing mix according to directions (but using about 1/2 the oil called for).

    Mix Ranch dressing with vinegar and oil.

    Mix the two dressing mixtures together.

    Drain pasta well and rinse with cold water, drain well again.

    Place all ingredients into large bowl and toss well, drizzle with some of the dressing and toss well.

    Put the remainder of the dressing in a covered container in the refrigerator until after pasta salad is chilled.

    Refrigerate 12 hours.

    Toss before serving checking to see if more dressing is needed.
