    Recipe Introduction

    This is a modified Aunt Sylvia's cheesecake recipe. Aunt Sylvia is my sister in law's aunt.

    List of Ingredients



    Preheat oven: 325 degrees

    CRUST:
    1 bag Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies (ground into crumbs)

    2/3 stick of melted butter

    4 blocks (8 ounce each) of cream cheese(room temp)

    4 eggs (room temp)

    1 cup sugar

    1 Tb. Vanilla



    Topping:

    3/4 pint of sour cream
    4 TB. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla.






    Recipe

    Grease sides and line bottom of 9 or 10 inch spring form pan with buttered crumbs. You can use your favorite crumbs if you'd like.

    Beat eggs and sugar at high speed for 10 minutes.

    Add cream cheese and 1TB vanilla and beat again at high speed for 20 minutes.

    Bake for 48-50 minutes. (middle will be a little jiggly).
    Let sit in oven with door cracked for 20 minutes.

    Run a knife around sides to loosen cake.

    Beat topping ingredients together and pour over cake.

    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
