Raisin Cake

List of Ingredients
1 box raisins
2 cups water

1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon

4 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Recipe
Boil for 10 minutes the box of raisins and 2 cups water.
Take off heat.
Add butter til melted.
Add sugar and spices and mix well.
Add nuts if using them.
Add flour one cup at a time until incorporated.
Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan.
Bake 325°F 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours until done.
