Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe Introduction
This is the old stand-by we all have to have. This makes very good cookies!
List of Ingredients
1 lb. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
6 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. Cream or tarter
2 Tbsp. milk or half & half
1 ½ - 12 oz. Pkg. Chocolate chips

Cream margarine or butter with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and milk and mix well. In a large bowl combine flour, and cream of tartar. Add dry ingredients slowly and mix until well combines. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (if desired). Chill dough for 1 hours. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookies sheet or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 10 min.
