    1 c. butter
    1 c. white sugar
    ½ c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    walnut or pecan halves

    Recipe



    Sift flour, soda, salt. Cream butter and sugars. Blend in eggs, water and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Chill about 2 hours. Enclosed half an Andes mint wafer in about 1 Tbsp. of dough.
    Place on greased cookie sheet two inches apart. Top each with walnut half and bake 10 to 12 min. at 350 degrees.
