LEMON LINGUINE
I tried this for Eric and Gabriela, but their basil was old and not flavorful, I didn't have any lemon-pepper seasoning, Gabriela couldn't eat garlic and I didn't have Parmesan cheese...but I think it is a good recipe!!!
List of Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked linguine (I used angel hair)
- 3 Tbs. butter or stick margarine, melted
- 1 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil (1 Tbs. fresh would be good)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt-free lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In saucepan, cook linguine in boiling water for 8 - 10 minutes or until tender.
- Meanwhile, in another saucepan, combine butter, lemon juice, basil, garlic powder, and lemon peppe.
- Cook and stir until butter is melted.
- Drain linquine (always save the water in case it is too dry)
- Add to butter mixture and toss to coat.
- Add Parmesan cheese and toss.
- Makes 4 servings.
Final Comments
I used cheddar cheese and it glopped.
