SESAME GREEN BEANS
I have little pieces of paper with recipes scribbled on them all over the place...this is one of them and I have no idea where it came from. But it sounds good and different.
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. green beans, trimmed
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 2 tsp. sesame seed
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 F.
- In a jelly roll pan, toss beans with oil.
- Spread in single layer in pan.
- Roast for 12 minutes, stirring once, until wrinkled, brown and tender.
- In small dry skillet, over medium heat, stir seeds until fragrant and toasted - about 1 minute.
- Crush seeds lightly and toss with beans.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serves 4.
- Each serving has 2 gr. fat.
