    List of Ingredients




    Crust:

    2 cups of cookie/graham cracker crumbs
    6 T butter, melted
    1/4 cup sugar

    Cheesecake:

    2 pkgs cream cheese (8 oz each), softened to room temp
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp vanilla
    1/4 tsp salt

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325.

    Mix crumbs, butter and sugar together, then press into a 9 or 10 inch pie pan. Refrigerate crust while you make the filling.

    In a food processor or mixing bowl, process/beat the cream cheese and sour cream together until creamy and well blended. Add in the sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt, beating/pulsing just until well blended.

    Pour into the prepared crust, place the pie pan on a baking sheet (for stability), and bake at 325 for 40 minutes. The center should still jiggle slightly.

    Cool to room temp on a rack, then refrigerate several hours until well chilled.

    Toppings and variations:

    -Top with (after baking and cooling) any kind of pie filling or preserves
    -Stir mini chocolate chips or toffee chips into the batter before baking
    -Top with drizzled melted chocolate after baking and cooling
    -Stir broken Oreo cookies into the batter before baking
    -After baking and cooling, top with cut up Snickers, caramel and chocolate ice cream topping
