Perfect Breaded Pork Chops (or chicken)

    Source of Recipe

    Fluffy's Kitchen

    List of Ingredients

4 boneless pork chops (or boneless chicken breasts)

    1 egg
    1/4 cup of milk
    about a tablespoon of mayo
    1 tsp garlic bread seasoning

1 cup of seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup of crushed cracker crumbs (use your favorite)
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with foil, spray the foil with cooking spray, set aside.

Add cooking oil or shortening to a large skillet to a depth of about a half an inch and set over medium to high heat to get hot.

While the oil heats, pound the chops (or chicken breasts) with a meat mallet til they are about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.

In a shallow bowl, beat together the egg, milk, mayo and garlic seasoning.

In another shallow bowl, stir the crumbs and Parmesan together.

Dredge the chops in the egg mixture, then into the crumbs, pressing the crumbs in to coat evenly.

Fry the chops in the hot oil til nicely browned, turning only once. As the chops get brown, remove them to the foil lined baking sheet. Place the browned chops on the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove to a serving plate quickly, or the breading will stick to the baking sheet.
