1 t. cumin
2 t. chopped fresh ginger
1 t. salt
1 t. garam masala
1 t. ground coriander
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup water
3 large onions
1 garlic clove
1 lb. hamburger
1 t. tumeric
1/8 t. red pepper
2 T. unflavored yoghurt
Recipe
Saute 1 cup sliced onions in a little oil.
Set aside.
Add remaining sliced onions, ginger, garlic and salt to oil and cook till soft.
Add hamburger and crumble.
Cook until pink gone.
Stir in garam masala, tumeric, cumin, coriander, red pepper, tomatoes, yoghurt and water.
Stirring constantly, bring to boil, then reduce heat to low, cover tightly and simmer 10 min.
Top with fried onions you set aside.
