    Korean Beef and Mushrooms

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 lb. boneless sirloin steak
    1/3 cup sesame seeds
    2 cloves garlic
    1 t. grated fresh garlic
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    1/2 t. cayenne pepper
    2 T. peanut oil
    3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
    2 cups sliced scallions
    Hot white rice

    Recipe




    Cut steak into thin slices. Pound until thin.
    Mix together the sesame seeds, garlc, ginger, soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
    Stir into the beef with wooden spoon pressing well with the back of the spoon.
    Heat the oil and stir fry meat for one minute.
    Add the sliced mushrooms and cook over a high heat until beef is cooked.
    Remove beef and mushrooms from the pan with slotted spoon.
    Add scallions to the pan and cook until golden brown.
    Sprinkle on top of the beef and serve immediately with hot white rice.
