    Farm Journal cookbook in the 60s

    List of Ingredients




    Pam
    4 skinless chicken breasts
    1 t. salt
    1/8 t. pepper
    3/4 cup onion
    1 green pepper in strips
    1 clove garlic minced
    5 cups canned tomato
    1/2 cup raisins
    1 1/2 t. salt
    1/2 t. pepper
    1 T. curry
    1/2 cup almonds
    1/2 t. leaf thyme, crushed
    1 T. parsley

    Recipe




    Spray chicken breasts with Pam. Brown on both sides. Set aside
    Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in microwave.
    Add tomatoes, raisins, salt, pepper and curry
    Simmer 10 min. on stove top
    Place chicken in 3 qt. casserole
    Pour on sauce; cover and bake for 1 hr. at 350
    Toast almonds in oven till brown.
    Sprinkle thyme, almonds and parsley on chicken just before serving.
