Broccoli Slaw

This is a winner at any dish to pass dinner. This can be made low cal with low or fat free mayo and sugar substitute
List of Ingredients
- 1 large bunch broccoli
- 1/2 cup sweet onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 cup grated Colby cheese
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 T vinegar
Instructions
- Break broccoli into small flowerettes. Peel stalks and slice into thin circles. Fry bacon; drain and crumble. Mix with broccoli, onion, raisins, cheese and water chestnuts. Stir dressing ingredients well to dissolve sugar. Toss into broccoli.
