Sweet Corn Bread


1 cup cornmeal
2 cup flour
1 tbl baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter melted
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs separated
1 cup half and half
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe





Mix cornmeal flour baking powder salt and sugar. Mix the egg yolks milk vanilla and melted butter. Stir into the dry ingredients until they are thoroughly moistened. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter carefully. Pour into a baking pan that has been well buttered. Bake on 350f for 30 minutes.
