    Pecan Praline French Toast


    8 thick slices of French Bread
    6 eggs
    1 ¼ cups half and half
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 stick butter
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup pure maple syrup
    1/2 cup chopped pecans

    Recipe





    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 pan with nonstick spray and
    layout bread. Beat eggs, half and half, vanilla and cinnamon till well
    blended. Pour over bread and soak for at least 30 minutes, turning
    frequently.

    On stove, melt butter, brown sugar and syrup and slowly bring to a
    rolling boil. Lower heat and stir constantly for one minute. Add pecans
    and coat well. Pour sauce over soaked bread. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
    Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar and serve warm.
