Pickled Okra
1 qt. White vinegar
1/2 cup canning salt
1 cup of water
fresh okra
dill seed
hot peppers red and green
Garlic cloves
Recipe
Place 1/2 tsp, of dill seed in bottom of jar
Pack washed fresh okra tightly as possible in each jar being careful not to bruise the okra.
Add 1 each red and green pepper and 1 clove of garlic to each jar. Bring to a boil vinegar, water and salt. Cover okra with hot mixture. Seal and process 10 minutes for pints and 15 minutes for qts.
Makes as many as you want. Just make more vinegar water and salt.
