    Whole Cranberry Sauce


    6 3/4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    3 lb. fresh cranberries

    Recipe




    Combine sugar and water in an 8 to 10-quart kettle.
    Stir to dissolve sugar.
    Heat to boiling; boil 5 minutes.
    Add cranberries; cook about 5 minutes or until skins pop.
    Remove from heat.
    Pack hot cranberry sauce into hot jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace; adjust lids.

    Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes (start timing as soon as
    water returns to a boil).

    Makes 6 pints
