Baked Ham and Cheese Brunch
6 slices white bread ,trimmed and cubed
1 10 oz. pkg. chopped broccoli or SPINACH ,cooked and drained
1 c. diced ham
1 c. shredded Cheddar VT of course
3 lightly beaten eggs or egg substitute
2 T. finely chopped onions
1/8 t. dry mustard
1 1/2 c. milk
1/4 t. salt
pinch of nutmeg

Cover bottom of a 9" Pammed baking pan with half of the bread cubes . Then layer in order the veggie, ham and cheese . repeat the layers and set aside . Combine the eggs, milk onions and seasonings and blend well . Pour over all in the dish . Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight . In the morning, bake at 350 for 40 - 45 min. until knife inserted comes out clean .
Let stand a 10 min. and cut into squares to serve.
I usually can only wait a few minutes and use a large serving spoon.
