Then all you need to do is mix the ingredients together, pour the batter into a hot waffle iron, and enjoy!

    Oatmeal Nut Waffles


    1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 cups milk
    1/4 cup butter, melted
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 cup quick-cooking oats
    1 cup chopped nuts
    Sliced fresh peaches, optional

    Recipe


    In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Combine eggs, milk, butter and honey; stir into dry ingredients and mix well.
    Fold in oats and nuts.
