    Calling all dessert fanatics, it's National Cheesecake Day! The dense pastry crust combined with a creamy, rich filling will leave you asking for more. Top with some fruit and voila—a decadent dessert experience! Cheesecake is a wonderful sweet because it exists in so many varieties. Some popular flavors are strawberry, key lime, chocolate and peanut butter cup, but the possibilities are endless! There are also many styles of cheesecake. Different countries (and even cities) all have their own versions of this famous cake. To celebrate National Cheesecake Day, many pastry shops and restaurants will serve cheesecake at a discounted price (and sometimes even for free).     Lemon Cheesecake


    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    5 tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    2 pkg. lemon fluff frosting mix
    2 pkg. cream cheese, softened
    3 c. dairy sour cream
    Raspberry sauce for decoration

    Recipe



    Stage 1-Heat oven to 325 degrees.

    Stage 2-Mix thoroughly graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter. Reserve 2/3 cup crumb mixture.

    Stage 3-Press remaining mixture evenly in bottom of square pan, 9 x 9 x 2 inches.

    Stage 4-Prepare frosting mix as directed on package.

    Stage 5-Blend cream cheese and sour cream in large mixer bowl.

    Stage 6-Gradually beat in frosting. Pour cream cheese mixture over crumb mixture.

    Stage 7- Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.

    Stage 8-Bake 50 minutes. Cool slightly and chill.
