Onions may be cut into thick slices.
List of Ingredients
Baked Onions
15 lbs. Bermuda or Spanish onions (about 50 - 4 oz. each)
1 tbsp. salt
8 oz. bread crumbs
8 oz. margarine, melted
1 qt. beef stock or 1 qt. chicken stock
Recipe
Peel onions and steam until tender. Place in greased baking pans.
Sprinkle salt and buttered crumbs on onions.
Pour stock around onions. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-30 minutes.
Yield: 50 servings
