Chocolate Pound Cake
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup crisco
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup milk
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Icing:
1/4 cup butter
2 squares cnocolate
1 box confectioners sugar
1/2 tap. vanilla extract
Recipe
Cream together butter, crisco and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add
milk and sifted dry ingredients alternately. Add vanilla extract. Bake
at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Icing
Melt chocolate and butter together. Add confectioners sugar and
vanilla extract. Add enouth cream to make easy spreading.
