Jell-O Poke Cake
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 (6 oz.) pkg. of Jell-O, any flavor
2 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip topping
Recipe
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Bake in a 9" x 13" prepared cake pan.
Cool 10 minutes in pan. Mix dry Jell-O with boiling water. Poke holes down in the cooled cake, be sure to use a large cooking fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Pour Jell-O mixture over the entire cake surface and allow Jell-O to soak into cake. Frost the cake with thawed cool whip and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours.
