Root Beer Sorbet
2 tablespoons of water
1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
2 (12 ounce) cans of root beer
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of light corn syrupRecipe
In a small saucepan, combine water and gelatin, let stand 1 minute.
Heat and stir until gelatin dissolves, remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, combine root beer with dissolved gelatin, sugar and corn syrup. Stir until blended.
Pour into ice cream canister and freeze according to instructions.
After freezing pour into Popsicle molds for the kids.
Makes about 1 quart
