sour cherries - 16 oz. (1 standard size can or home-canned)
3 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 T. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Recipe
Drain cherries thoroughly and place them in the bottom of an unbaked
pie shell. Scald milk. Beat eggs and add to scalded milk. Mix flour
and sugar together. Combine with milk & eggs and beat well. Stir in
vanilla. Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell over cherries. Bake
at 400� for 35 to 40 minutes or until custard is set in center.
