Recipe Introduction


The world's largest peanut butter and jelly sandwich was created in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on September 7, 2002 by the Oklahoma Peanut Commission and the Oklahoma Wheat Commission.

The PB & J sandwich weighed in at nearly 900 pounds, and contained 350 pounds of peanut butter and 144 pounds of jelly. The amount of bread used to create the sandwich was equivalent to more than 400-one pound loaves of bread. Now that's one giant sandwich!

Peanut Butter 'n' Jelly Pie


1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Domino® or C&H® Pure Cane Powdered Sugar
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 chocolate crumb crust (9 inches)
1/2 cup strawberry preserves
2 cups whipped topping


Recipe




In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and peanut butter until smooth. Spoon into crust. Top with preserves and whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

Yield: 8 servings.
