    Chocolate Pecan Tarts

    Chocolate Pecan Tarts



    Crust:
    1½ c. flour
    1/3 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 tsp. salt

    Filling:
    Over hot water in double boiler, melt:

    1 6 oz. package Nestles Choc. Chips
    Add:
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 T. milk
    1 T. melted oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg, beaten, and mix all well.


    Recipe



    Sift all 3 ingredients, then cut in:
    ½ c. oleo until crumbly, then sprinkle 8 T. beaten egg over top.
    Form into 24 bases, put one base in each of 24 tiny muffin tins. Using thumbs, press to sides and bottom of tins.


    Add ½ c. chopped pecans. Pour 1 T. filling into crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
