    White Beer Cheese Dip


    6 cups shredded Asadero cheese
    1 sm. onion - chopped fine
    1 tsp. Tabasco® Sauce
    2-3 jalapeno peppers - seeded, chopped fine
    2 Tbls. prepared horseradish
    2 cloves garlic - chopped fine
    1 cup beer

    Recipe




    Combine all ingredients in crock pot and stir.
    -Cook on low heat setting until all ingredients are melted together.
    -Stir again, and serve hot with warm corn tortilla chips.

    NOTES : The secret is in using Asadero cheese. I had the problem you did until I discovered this! It's specially made for melting, and ever since I started using this cheese (in the specialty cheese section at the grocery store), I've been turning out cheese dips just like in the Mexican restaurants
