    Genuine Mexican Salsa


    2 Large round tomatoes or 4-5 normal roma tomatoes
    1 clove garlic
    pinch of salt
    1/4 onion (medium)
    1 Jalapeño chile (or to taste)
    1/4 bunch cilantro (fresh)

    Recipe





    Boil tomatoes and chili about 5 minutes. pour off most of water. place in blender with the washed cilantro, garlic, salt and onion. blend on high speed until desired consistency. if too thick, add some of the water you used to boil tomatoes in to dilute. heat about 1 or 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan then add the salsa and cook 2 minutes on medium heat. *this keeps the
    salsa fresh longer. make sure to store in closed container in fridge.


    *you can substitute Serrano chiles if you prefer, just be careful, they
    are hotter.
