    Birds Nests

    Recipe Introduction

    Hi, Marla,
Here's a fun one for Easter. Mix this up and make several
small nests or one or two large ones. Fill with small chocolate eggs or jelly beans or whatever. I like to wrap the finished filled nests in plastic wrap when I'm done and then seal the wrap with a quick touch of a curling iron (keep all the ends on the bottom of the nest for a neat look). The "eggs" will then stay put and you can tie ribbon around it for a cute gift.

    List of Ingredients

    Birds Nests

12 oz. package semisweet chocolate chips(or butterscotch chips)
1 cup chunky style peanut butter
    4 cups chow mein noodles
    peanuts or jelly beans (optional)

    Recipe

Melt the chocolate chips with the peanut butter. Stir in chow mein noodles until well coated. Drop onto waxed paper and press with spoon to form a nest. Add peanuts or jelly beans for bird's eggs.
