Baked Pineapple Casserole from Hel
1/2 c. butter
1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
l c. sugar
5 slices bread, cubed
4 eggs
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs. Beat well, then add pineapple. Stir in cubes.
Bake in a greased l-1/2 quart casserole dish, uncovered, for l hour at 350 degrees or until lightly browned.
Serves 8 to 10 people. This is not a dessert but a vegetable and is great served with ham.
I doubled the recipe for the 9 x 13 pan.
