    Make crostini toasts a day or two ahead of serving and store them in
    an airtight container. You can serve them plain and let guests pile
    on their own toppings or serve them already dressed for the party.

    Low Carb Crostini Toast


    1 baguette, sourdough or sweet
    4 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced in half
    1/2 cup olive oil
    Salt, optional
    Grated Parmesan cheese, optional

    Recipe




    Slice the baguette into 1/4-to 1/2-inch slices. Rub one side of each
    slice with cut garlic and brush with olive oil. Sprinkle with a
    little salt or Parmesan if desired. Place oil-side-up on a baking
    sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp and
    brown. Cool before wrapping for storage.
