This all in one meal is so good and you can make it into two tacos per person or a taco sled. The shells that I used I found in a Super Wal-Mart and they are really low carb.
List of Ingredients
Low Carb Turkey Tacos or Salad
1 lb. Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
1 pkg. Old El Paso Taco Seasoning Mix - 40% less sodium
La Tiara Authentic Taco Shells
3 Cups Shredded Lettuce
1 Cup 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Pico de Gallo
4 Tbsp Taco Sauce
Recipe
Preheat oven at 200. Cook Taco Shells for 10 minutes.
Cook turkey in a medium pan until done. Make sure you break up meat with spatula for very small pieces while it is cooking for better results.
Add Seasoning Mix along with 2/3 Cup of water and simmer for 15 minutes.
For Taco Salads, crush the Taco Shells and place them on a plate (2 shells per person) and top with lettuce, taco meat, cheese, pico de gallo and then top with taco sauce.
For Tacos, fill each heated shell with turkey meat, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and then top with taco sauce.
Use other topping if you prefer, the nutritional information is for all the ingredients listed.
