    Honey Loaves for Rosh Hashanah


    6 eggs
    2 cups sugar
    2 tablespoons coffee (dissolved in a drop of hot water)
    1 cup water
    1 lb honey
    1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
    1 tablespoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 cup orange juice
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    5 cups flour

    Recipe




    1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2 Beat eggs with sugar on high speed, until fluffy. In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Alternately add liquid and dry ingredients to mixer. Mix on low speed until smooth. Pour batter into three lined 4x10" baking pans.

    3 Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until loaves test done.
