Piccadillo for Mothers Day
1/2 Spanish onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 tbsps olive oil
1 lb ground beef
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup pimento stuffed olives
1/4 cup caper
1/2 cup seedless raisin
1/2 cup frozen corn
dash oregano
Recipe
Saute onions and green peppers in a large frying pan with the olive oil over medium heat until onions are translucent.
Add meat and cook until meat is brown on all sides.
Add tomato and Worcestershire sauce to pan and stir thoroughly.
Once mixture begins to boil, reduce heat to low and add remaining ingredients to pan.
Simmer covered with a lid for 20 minutes.
