Krispy Caramel Critters


1 package large marshmallows, frozen in freezer overnight
Rice Krispies cereal
1 package caramels
1 stick butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
toothpicks




Recipe




Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Insert toothpick
into tops of each marshmallow. Put caramels, butter,
and sweetened condensed milk into a saucepan or double
boiler and cook on low heat, stirring constantly until
melted together. Remove from heat. Qucikly dip marshmallows into the
caramel mixture to coat, leaving just the tops uncovered.

Then roll immediately in the Rice Krispies and place on
the waxed paper to cool. Stir the caramel mixture
occasionally to keep it smooth. Store in a covered
container in a cool place.
