    Strawberry Glazed Ham


    1, 10 pound Butt End Half Cooks** ham
    1-1/2 cups strawberry preserves or jam
    1/3 cup of prepared mustard
    1/4 cup of lemon juice
    meat tenderizer
    12 ounce Real Root Beer not imitation---Frosty's Old Time is a good one

    Sprinkle top and sides of ham with Lowery's*** meat tenderizer and take an
    ice pick and jab ham over entire top,going to the bone of the ham. In a roasting pan put the ham fattest side down and bake for 2 hours at 325. While the ham is cooking in a small pan combine the preserves mustard and lemon juice. Over low heat cook until well blended. Spread mixture over ham top and sides and pour a 12 ounce Root Beer in bottom of pan. Wrap tightly with foil and return to oven at 350 for two hours. Cut off oven and leave ham inside for
    20 minutes.
