    Peanut Butter and Graham Cracker Pie Crust


    1/4 cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter
    2 cups fine-crushed graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 Tbsp water (approximately)

    Recipe





    In a large bowl, blend together peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Add water a tablespoon at a time, kneading gently with your (clean) fingers until mixture holds together. Press mixture into bottom and up side of a well-buttered 9-inch pie pan. Chill thoroughly before filling.

    Great for chilled pies using puddings or ice cream. Goes particularly well with chocolate fillings.

    Yield: 9-inch pie crust (8 servings)

    Per piece: 185 calories, 30 percent from fat, 6 grams total fat, 0 mg cholesterol, 1 g saturated fat, 3 g protein, 30 g carbohydrates, 1 g total fiber, 165 mg sodium.
