Joy's Sick Dog Stew

1. Stop feeding all kibble. Let tummy rest for 12 hours.
Give caplet of pepto bismol.

2. Then feed what I call Sick Dog Stew.


1lb frozen ground turkey.
Put in microwave pot or on stove.
About 4 cups water.
½ C baby carrots

Recipe




Cook in microwave and stir to mush.
About 15 min.
Add about 1 cup minute rice or until liquid is soaked up.
You could also use instant potatoes.

3. After 12 hours, feed 2X per day along with caplet pepto
bismol til stool firms up.

4. You might also offer a spoon full of cut canned
green beans after the 2nd or 3rd day.

5. After stool firms up, slowly mix in whatever
kibble you want to feed and reduce the sick dog stew.

6. In future, when traveling and you run out, have tried and true people food
all tested so you don’t run into this problem. Sick dog stew is something you
can make easily on the road or order chicken and potatoes or rice or eggs
without seasoning in a restaurant. Just test it on your dog at home before you leave.
