    Sally’s Green Goddess Salad from Wendy


    Dressing:

    1 cup loosely packed fresh parsley sprigs
    1/4 cup coarsely snipped fresh chives
    1/4 cup loosely packed fresh tarragon leaves
    1 large green onion, chopped
    1 small clove garlic, peeled
    1/4 tarragon vinegar
    1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
    1/2 cup sour cream
    1 to 2 tablespoons buttermilk

    Salad

    1 clove garlic, peeled and halved
    1 medium head Romaine lettuce
    1 head Boston or other butterhead lettuce
    1/2 medium bunch chicory

    Recipe





    Place all dressing ingredients in food processor pulse 8 to 10 times until smooth and creamy, scrapping work bowl a couple of times until well combined Pour into a 1 quart jar, cover tightly and refrigerate. Best if made a day before. Keeps for a week or so.
