Saving Tomato Paste

What do you do when the recipe calls for 3 tablespoons of tomato paste and you only have an 8 oz can? All that waste! Instead of throwing out what you don't need, spoon the surplus into ice cube trays and freeze. Once the cubes have frozen, dump them into a freezer bag and then you have smaller increments to use as needed in future recipes. One cube equals approximately one ounce.
