Pouring Off GreaseRecipe
To remove excess fat from browned ground meat transfer it from the skillet to a strainer or colander. Drain on paper towels and pat dry.
This step removes fat not flavor. You may choose to move all the meat to one side of the skillet, tilt the pan in the opposite direction and pour off the drippings.
