Ripening Green Tomatoes from Tami

If a hard freeze threatens, pick your green tomatoes and ripen them indoors. Rinse them clean, then dip in a solution of one part bleach and 9 parts water. Allow them to air dry, then wrap individually in clean newspaper. Store at a cool room temperature and check periodically for ripening.
