    Tangy Turkey Burgers

    1 1/2 pounds of ground turkey
    3 tbsp. Minced green onions
    1 tsp. Reduced sodium soy sauce
    1 tsp. Minced fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp. Ground ginger
    2 tsp Dijon style mustard
    1/4 tsp. Black pepper
    6 whole grain hamburger buns
    green leaf lettuce and tomatoes

    Directions:
    Preheat broiler or grill. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, green onion, soy sauce, ginger, mustard and pepper. Mix well. Shape mixture into 6 patties. Place patties on rack in broiler. Broil 2 inches from heat until patties are cooked through, about 5 minutes each side. (Or Grill patties until done). Place burgers on buns and garnish with lettuce and tomatoes if desired.
