    Tuna

    8 oz. fresh Yellowfin Tuna
    black and white sesame seeds
    salt & pepper to taste
    1 tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. sesame oil

Mix sesame seeds and salt and pepper together on a plate. Firmly press tuna steak into the seeds coating both sides. Heat skilletand add the two oils in the skillet. Sear both sides of tuna for about 30 seconds each side. This will leave a nice extra rare center. Set Tuna aside. Save the skillet for the next recipe.

    Stir Fry Rice

    1/2 cup cooked white rice
chopped various vegetables (broccoli, squash, carrots, onions)
    chopped garlic
    2 tbsp. soy sauce

Heat skillet again with the oils left from the tuna. Add the vegetables and the garlic and saute` for 15 seconds. Add the rice and soy sauce and saute` until rice is well coated and begins to sizzle. Set skillet aside and prepare new skillet for vegetables.

    Asian Inspired Vegetables

This can be your favorite vegetables. I use asparagus, baby broccoli, carrots, baby corn, red peppers, strips of squash and zucchini and snow peas.

In a new skillet put your favorite vegetables, add 1/3 cup water and a tbsp of soy sauce. Cover the vegetables and skillet and steam them for 1 minute or until colors become vibrant.

    To assemble the plate:
Use a mold of some kind. We use a 6 oz ramekin to mold rice on the plate. Drain the water off the vegetables and place the vegetables on the plate. Slice the tuna and place on top of the rice. We drizzle the plate with Sirachi hot sauce, Hoisin Glaze and prepared Wasabi. All of these ingredients are pre made and can be found at your local market.
