Shrimp Etouffee Recipe

1- 28oz can Chopped tomatoes
2oz butter
1oz vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups onion - chopped
3/4 cup celery - chopped
3/4 cup green onions - sliced
1/2 tsp. garlic - minced
1 cup Shrimp stock
2 pounds peeled 31/36 Shrimp
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. Cajun Seasoning
1 tsp. Tabasco
salt and pepper - to taste
White rice
1. Melt the butter and the oil together. Saute the onion, celery and green onions until tender.
2. Add the tomatoes, stock and garlic and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add the shrimp, bay leaf, worcestershire, cajun seasoning, and Tabasco. Return to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
4. Adjust seasonongs and serve over rice.
