Honey Parsnips

6 medium parsnips, peeled
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe
Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil. Cut parsnips lengthwise into thin slices, then cut the slices into pieces 1 inch long. Add to the boiling water, along with the salt, and cook for 20 minutes until just tender.
Melt butter in a large skillet over low heat; add honey and cook, stirring frequently, until mixture bubbles. Add parsnips, cover, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Put in serving bowl and sprinkle lemon juice and cinnamon over the top.
